The AmeriCorps Experience

In August, I began my AmeriCorps position with Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County. Frankly, I was unsure about what I was getting myself into. I knew nothing about Habitat, construction, or even myself to tell the truth. However, I can say confidently that just two and half months later everything has changed. Sure, I still know as much about construction as I do quantum physics (okay, not really, I can lay flooring and paint walls), but as far as Habitat and myself are concerned, I know so much more.

Bojangles Fundraiser!

Come out and support your local Habitat for Humanity affiliate at the Denver Bojangles (134 Hwy 16 south, Denver, NC) on November 2nd and 16th from 5pm to 8pm. A percentage of sales will be donated to Habitat. Local Habitat Homeowners-in-Process will be present to speak about their experience and give out information about our programs! We look forward to seeing you all there!

Shop, Donate, and Volunteer with the Lincoln County ReStores.

The Denver ReStore opened its doors on April 13, 2015.  There are 8,229 square feet of selling space in the renovated CVS Pharmacy store  located at 2128 N. Highway 16 in the Food Lion Shopping Center at Westport Country Club in Denver, NC.

The Lincolnton ReStore referred to as “The Aspen ReStore”, is located on 1555 Aspen Street in the previous location of BIG LOTS in the Lincolnton Plaza and  has a grand retail selling space of 17,000 sq ft.  The Lincolnton ReStore opened its doors at the new location on November 15, 2015.

Customer Spotlight: Lina Lee

We value our Customers and appreciate their loyalty to both of our ReStores!

Lina Lee moved to the Denver area from Raleigh with her Daughter.  She is always a joy to see and talk with.  Lina has visited many ReStores in the past but states that “...The Denver ReStore is friendly and the staff seems to really care.  The ReStore gives me a place to go to get out of the house where I can find pleasure looking at all of the pretties.”
