AmeriCorps is a service program through the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal program dedicated to helping nonprofits and other organizations fight poverty and improve communities across the country.
As our affiliate grows, it is so important to remember the basis of our mission: we are seeking to put God’s love into action to build homes, communities, and hope. In support of this mission, our growing Faith Relations Committee- Builders of Faith is finding its way towards developing a sustainable and plentiful network of churches, faith groups, and leaders who wish to serve others through Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County.
Our affiliate is currently looking for buildable lots in Denver, Iron Station, and Pumpkin Center. Our affiliate is growing and has several local families in our program. This is great for our capacity and our community for providing affordable housing in Lincoln County.
Please join us in welcoming Jonathan Hoyle, Project Manager with Autobell CarWash Inc., to our Board of Directors. Jonathan lives in Iron Station, NC. He and his wife, Chrystal, have two children, Jonathan-Ballard (18) and Brooklyn (21).
