We sent in our August through November tithe, plus the funds we have received thus far, for “smokeless” stoves. This amount is $10,000, the exact amount we needed for the “smokeless” stove challenge! WE DID IT! We are funding 100 “smokeless” stoves for 100 deserving families in need of a smoke free home environment in Guatemala, before January 1, 2016!

Today, July 15, 2015, the Board of Directors at Lincoln County Habitat for Humanity approved hiring Family Services Coordinator AND Marketing/Communications Resource Development Coordinator for our affiliate. This, after approving our first construction coordinator position last month. It didn't hurt in reviewing a DRAFT of our 2015-2016 Budget, reflecting over 3 times as much as last year's budget!
We already have a Community Outreach/Volunteer Coordinator, Patrick Rust, on board as of April 1, 2015, and his position is being paid through a 3-year Capacity Grant! Our Board’s adopted theme since January 1st has been “A New Beginning in 2015”. A truly AWESOME Board focused on growing our impact on families in our county, Guatemala, and Nepal! We are filled with abundant hearts and minds!
