On March 25, 2017, our dearest Lincolnton ReStore manager, Mary Gibbs suddenly passed while visiting with family in Tennessee. Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of such an important person to Habitat and Lincoln County. Mary was an inspiration to us all and a wonderful example of what Christianity is all about.... L O V E! We all have shared many smiles, laughter, tears and memories with Mary and will cherish them until we meet again.

LINCOLNTON, N.C.––Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County is making a big difference for local folks.
According to its homeowner services co-ordinator, Alex Scarborough, in the 25 years since the local branch of the international Habitat for Humanity organization was formed in Lincoln County, some 38 homes have sprung up to give a leg up to families.
It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that Philip Burford, one of our employees at the Lincolnton ReStore, passed away recently, after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his brother, his mom, her pastor and his wife. Phil had been with Habitat since March of 2014, our second longest tenured employee.
