Come team up with Elevation church as they join Habitat for Humanity during their “Love Week”. Love Week is all about compassion, unity, selflessness, and service.
The neighborhood revitalization efforts in Oaklawn are coming to an end on the first phase. This first phase is conducting and gathering surveys from the residents of the neighborhood. We have utilized volunteers to walk around the neighborhood to meet the residents and conduct a short survey about how each resident feel about their community and what would improve the quality of life.
Habitat for Humanity is building in Denver! We are excited to present the McMillan Family as the recipient of this home. Vanessa has been in the program since March of 2016. Between she and her teenaged son they have earned almost 200 hours!
Habitat wants to welcome our newest AmeriCorps VISTA, Megan Bales! Originally from Lincoln County, Megan graduated from Appalachian State University in May of 2017 with a bachelors of science in Sociology and Women’s Studies.
